Investment in qualifications and training should benefit the individual team member as well as the company. The company is willing to render financial support in order to develop the potential of its team members by means of training geared towards the achievement of the company's strategic objectives.
This policy applies to all permanent team members of the company.
The Company means Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages (Pty) Ltd.
The Culture and People Development (CPD) Director has overall responsibility for this policy.
A bursary may, at the discretion of the Company, be granted provided that the proposed studies are directed towards obtaining a recognized degree/diploma/certificate that is related to the core business of Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages Company.

3. Bursary amounts granted excludes exemption applications, other study materials, accommodation, travel etc.
4. Bursaries are granted on an annual basis with the exception of semester courses.
5. Bursaries could be declined based on performance and previous study track record.
1. The team member must complete a CCPB bursary application form in full, which must be signed off by the department Leader.

4. The application is then to be submitted to L & D for funding approval.
5. Once the approval has been granted it is compulsory that the team member signs a CCPB Bursary Agreement.
6. In an effort to ensure fairness the following criteria will be applied before final approval is granted:
1. On completion of the qualification or annual examination the team member must provide the Learning and Development Department with results.
2. The Learning and Development Department will be responsible for updating the team member's qualification file accordingly.
3. The Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverage Company team member will not be required to repay the bursary in the event of the Company deciding to discontinue the financial support resulting from the following:
4. Team members will be required to pay back the bursary sponsored by the company, should the following be relevant:
5. A bursary for the subject failed can be granted again in the following year, provided that the team member has commenced back payment for the subject failed in the previous year.
6. In the event of a team member being dismissed or the team member resigning before obtaining the qualification, the team member will be liable for the full amount of the bursary awarded.
7. Bursary applications related to MBA studies, given the nature and the cost will be extremely limited and reviewed by the L & D Leader and CPD Director.
